Humanistic Judaism UK (HJUK)
Humanistic Judaism UK offers a non-theistic approach to Jewish life, identity, culture, and spirituality. It is a way of being Jewish that places human experience, ethical responsibility, and personal integrity at the centre.
We celebrate Jewish tradition on honest terms: through community, learning, music, festivals, reflection, and shared values. We do not look to divine authority to determine the course of our lives. Instead, we trust in human wisdom, compassion, creativity, and responsibility.
For us, meaning is found in this world, this life, and one another. Jewish practice becomes a way to deepen connection, mark time, honour memory, celebrate joy, and strengthen our commitment to justice and human dignity.
